Luna Hardman Wins the 2026 Hawaii Pipeline Bodyboarding Championship

Pipeline, Hawaii — BZ and Legacy team rider Luna Hardman delivered an outstanding performance to win the 2026 Hawaii Pipeline Bodyboarding Championship, claiming victory in the Open Women’s Pro final with a total score of 15.43.

Hardman edged out Costa Rica’s Jessica Becker, who finished second with 14.33, while Dolce Aguero placed third with 9.10, and Bianca Simoes finished fourth with 8.00 in a challenging final at the world-famous Pipeline. 

A Perfect 10 at Backdoor

The defining moment of the final came when Hardman dropped into a perfect Backdoor wave and executed a flawless ARS (Air Roll Spin). The maneuver earned her a perfect 10-point score, securing the win in the closing moments of the heat and sending the beach into celebration. 

Pipeline is widely considered one of the most dangerous and iconic waves in the world, making the achievement even more impressive for the young rider.

A Champion’s Comeback

Since returning from injury, Luna Hardman has been riding at an exceptional level. The Pipeline victory follows another major win earlier this season in Brazil, confirming her return among the elite riders of the sport.
